Grade the thinking, not the paperwork.
Mosaia reads the work your students handed in, proposes a score per question and explains why. You keep the final say.

The product
How Mosaia works alongside you
Not a summary after the fact, but the actual work: per question the student's answer, what went right and wrong in it, and a proposal you accept or adjust.
Question 4
A recipe for 4 people uses 300 grams of flour. How many grams of flour are needed for 10 people? Show your work.
300 : 4 = 75 grams per person
75 × 10 = 700 grams
So 700 grams of flour are needed for 10 people.
Review
The per-person ratio is correct and the multiplication is set up properly. In the final step 75 × 10 was worked out as 700 instead of 750: an arithmetic slip, not a misunderstanding.

Upload the work

Mosaia proposes
A proposed score per question, with an explanation. Mosaia names the type of mistake: an arithmetic slip is not a misunderstanding.
You take over
Walk through the proposals, adjust where needed, accept. Every score stays your decision.
Built for the grading you actually do
The first pass is already done
Mosaia grades every answer before you look at it. Reviewing a proposal is much faster than grading from scratch.
Grade question by question
Every answer to the same question in one column. More consistent grading, less paging through.
The mistake, named
Arithmetic slip, misunderstanding or carelessness: the note says what went wrong, not just that it did.

See how the class scored per question. One glance tells you what needs re-teaching.
Your answer key leads
Your grading standard and point distribution drive every suggestion. No grades out of nowhere.
Handwriting is read
Written work is read as it is, crossings-out and all.
Built for schools, under the GDPR
Test work belongs to you and your students. Mosaia is built on that:
- Data stays in the EU.
- Student work is only used to grade your tests, never to train models.
- Deletion is always possible: school and teacher stay in control of their data.
Mosaia is in development. Processing agreements and documentation will be in place before the first school joins. No promises we can't keep yet.
